AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION:

To represent the interests of its members in matters affecting the estate relating to planning and local services and amenities, and to liaise with other residents' associations and the Kingston Conservation Committee in wider matters that have an impact on the estate and its surroundings.

ACTIVITIES:

The association works closely with Kingston council to preserve the character of the area. In the past, the SRA has been influential in determining the outcome of local planning decisions, such as the development of Surbiton filter beds and the retention of the local magistrates court.

COMMITTEE:

The committee consists of around 12 members who are elected at the Annual General Meeting. Officers are appointed from within the committee by the committee members.

Volunteers for possible future membership or to help with the committee's work are always welcome, as are new members.
